Price for an Israeli Strike on Iran? A Palestinian State
Co-authored with Andy Zelleke, Dujarric argues that the U.S. could leverage support for an Israeli preventive strike on Iran’s nuclear sites by conditioning it on renewed progress toward a Palestinian state. They suggest that linking security cooperation with diplomatic concessions could align American, Israeli, and Palestinian interests. They caution that such quid pro quo must be backed by credible enforcement mechanisms and international guarantees. Otherwise, the proposal risks undermining U.S. credibility and inflaming regional tensions without delivering lasting peace.
